J. D. is a Game Writer and Narrative Designer specializing in narrative structure, dialogue, character creation, and worldbuilding. 

 

His breakthrough role in game writing was for a Star Trek project (Excalibur), serving as Lead Writer from 2011-2018. From 2018-2020, he and a small team started up a new indie IP concept (Skybound). J. D. most recently published a visual novel (Sign Your Name) for Pixelberry Studios’ Storyloom platform.

In addition to game narrative, J. D. also brings over 15 years of screenwriting and 20 years of fiction writing experience to the table, as well as comprehensive knowledge of cinematography and over 6 years of related technical writing and strategic product marketing experience.
